Ramkey Consulting is an IT Professional Services firm established in 1988. Our office is situated in the Sydney CBD (near Town Hall) and we service clients across the metropolitan area, interstate and overseas.

Services are delivered on a time and materials basis, in place of the fixed-price, per-user or per-device model typical of managed services. In Ramkey’s experience, that model relies on a tightly standardised operating environment; building and enforcing that standard is costly, and the cost is ultimately borne by the client, who in return receives an environment shaped around the provider’s processes instead of the needs of their own business. Ramkey’s engagements instead adapt to each client, spanning both reactive support and scheduled proactive work intended to maintain the reliability and security of their environment.

We work with clients that have no internal IT capability as well as those with in-house IT staff, in which case its consultants complement the existing team by providing additional capacity or specialist expertise as required. In either case, the work is defined in scope, performed by a consultant, documented for the client, and billed according to the time taken. This model provides clients with full visibility of the work performed and ensures that charges reflect only the services delivered.
